Music Assembly

Some of us attend recorder club with Mrs. Crack and we have been practising hard so we could preform to the children. Here are some of us in one of the performances.

Science – dissolving and melting

In Science this week, we did an experiment on dissolving and melting different materials.  First, we predicted and explained whether the materials would dissolve or melt and then recorded it in our Science books.  After that, we did the experiment in groups and then finally we recorded our results and conclusion.

We have been learning about the properties and changes of different materials in science this morning! Several different materials were used and we had to test if they were magnetic, transparent, hard …..After the experiment we recorded our results in our science books and discussed them as a class.

World Book Day

It was one of our favourite days today!  We love World Book Day as we can dress up and get to read more books as well as share our favourite books with the rest of our classmates.  We had an assembly about reading and sang a World Book Day song!

Plant Competition

Designing a small plant container was our task this week using three plants, compost and our imagination!  We are hoping to win the competition which is called “In the Jar-den.”It is run by Harrogate Flower Shows at Newby Hall, in Ripon near Harrogate.

Hambleton Athletic Finals!
