We have been learning about how exercise can affect our hear rate/pulse. We can’t believe that we have won at another sports competition!  We are really proud to win at swimming this week at Thirsk Leisure Centre.  Swimming strokes included: front crawl, butterfly and breast-stroke.  Other competitors were children in Year 6 from local primary schools including one of the schools in our academy – Carlton Miniott.

We love our new Kindle Fires that have arrived this week!  We can go on Reading Plus and Times Table Rock Stars as well as read different books.

Here are some of our WW1 completed trench boots.  We painted them when all the glue had dried and then laced them up after trimming them with different fabrics.
